Our story
Founded in 1943 by William Sydney Engledoe, our funeral home has been a trusted presence in the heart of Cape Town for generations. What started as a small parlour in the City Bowl has grown into a family-run business serving communities across the Western Cape. Across eight decades, our family has had the profound honour of guiding more than 10 000 families through their most difficult moments — and we have remained committed throughout to compassionate, personalised care.
